OGITECH SU Declares State of Emergency on Campus (Read Details)

The student Union Government of Ogun State Institute of Technology Igbesa, Led by Comrade Soaga has declared a state of emergency on campus.

This was made known through a communique that was sent to Runaroundnews correspondent.

The communique is below

DECLARATION OF STATE OF EMERGENCY ON OGITECH CAMPUS

It is important that we remember that an injury to one is an injury to all. It is in this guide that I Comr. SOAGA, Michael Olalekan the 6th Students Union President of the Ogun State Institute of Technology Igbesa, hereby declare a state of emergency on campus due to the security issues on campus.

It is no news that safety have been a distant friend if the Ogun State Institute of technology, the bottle breaker was the incident that happened at the school gate today the 14th day of February, where a Students Union Executive was beaten at the school gate in front of the security men, with no intervention.

Our students are no longer safe on campus and we can’t continue to live in fear of the unknown, we want the Ogun State Government to intervene.

I hereby declare a state of emergency on school campus, hence no student must be found on campus until Futher directives received from the students union government.
