In an exclusive chat with Cool FM, the Sungba singer revealed it took time before Olamide agreed to sign him. According to Asake, he texted Olamide for 2 years before he could listen to him or his songs.

Asake recounted how he reached out to Olamide after he signed Fireboy, but Olamide ignored him.

Speaking on how Olamide finally changed his mind, Asake said he got a call from Baddo to come to his office after he released Omo Ope. Asake revealed that the call took him by surprise, but he immediately went to Olamide’s house.

Baddo made it known to him that he would love to sign him and gave him a contract to review and get back to him. Mr. Money confessed that he didn’t review the contract and just wanted signed it before Olamide change his mind.
